  • How long do I have access?

    Forever! Well, kinda. As long as your course is available on our platform, it's yours to revisit as many times as you'd like. We'll always give you a heads up before retiring or majorly changing a course. (Heads up: Intensive courses, coming soon, will have scheduled access tied to session dates rather than open-ended access.) If you grab a Professional Performance Review, that covers one submitted course video.

  • Is this self-paced?

    Yep! Guided Courses and Mock Tests are all self-paced, so learn at 2am in your pajamas if that's your thing. Intensive courses (coming soon) will likely have scheduled times, since some things just work better together.

  • Do I get feedback?

    You can add a Professional Performance Review to any performance-based course, at checkout or later if you're playing it cool, for an additional cost. Just know TEP Guided Courses and TEP Mock Tests are feedback-free zones.

  • What happens after I buy?

    Your courses show up on your student dashboard like magic, ready whenever you are. 3am cram session or leisurely Sunday practice, we don't judge.

  • Are the prep videos only for the BEI? What if I'm practicing for the NIC or EIPA?

    Our courses and categories are built to mirror the parts and levels of the BEI, but the core interpreting skills we teach show up across most certification tests. We don’t have videos of child signers at this time.

  • Do you offer CEUs with any of your courses?

    Yes! Most of our courses offer CEUs. The amount and type of CEUs are listed in the course description and indicated on the course image as well. You will receive a Certificate of Completion via email after completing the post-quiz for each course. CEUs are submitted to RID monthly.

  • Is IRL affiliated with BEI or another testing organization?

    Nope, we're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or secretly besties with any certification body. Everything here is built from public study guides plus real interpreting and teaching experience. See our website footer for the full disclaimer.
