Who we are
April Davidson
MS, NIC, BEI Master
I am an interpreter based in Michigan and have been working freelance since 2012. I also have a Master of Science in ASL/English Interpreting Pedagogy and have been teaching in an interpreter training program for over a decade. I enjoy working with students and interpreters at every stage of the journey. I believe we’re always learning in this field and in life, and I appreciate the variety of people and situations this work brings every day.
Outside of work, I’m a mom to five grown children, and watching them build their own lives is the best part of mine. I also spend a lot of time DIY-ing my 130-year-old home, which keeps things…interesting.
Andrea Rehkopf
MA, NIC, BEI Master
I have been professionally interpreting since 2007. I interpret for a wide variety of settings: healthcare, post-secondary, meetings, conferences and much more. I enjoy working with interpreting students and recent graduates and am always looking to learn more from the Deaf community and fellow interpreters. I also am the host of ‘Parking Lot Debrief’ - a podcast for ASL interpreters. When I’m not working, my husband Kevin and I enjoy hiking, biking, running, climbing and adventuring our way through Colorado.
